Native of Durham, NC (Bullcity). At the age of 7, she was bitten by the acting bug when her family dined at the Dinner Theatre, in Raleigh NC to see the production, “Fiddler on the Roof”. While in Junior high school, she became a member of the North Carolina Central University Dance group. While in Jr. High School, She also participated in the NCCU stage productions, “Guys & Dolls”.(Hot box girls & ensemble) Worked alongside the legend Jack Crowder(Roots).
She went on to study dance at the Duke Ellington Performing Arts High school in Washington DC and at the North Carolina School of the Arts, in Winston Salem for their summer programs
Shortly after relocating to Los Angeles California she landed a principle role on PAX TV, It’s A Miracle, hosted by Richard Thomas (known as John Boy of the hit show The Waltons). She learned early on, in order to make a way, you have to create your own path! She has been doing just that! She has produced a comedy show, featuring great comedians, Precious Hall, Fame Monroe and Derrick Ellis. She has Executive Produced two one persons shows, “I’m Still Your Mama", written & directed by Donna Crocket & “Belafonte Unauthorized” written and performed by Austin J. and directed by Ionna Morris (Director of the hit TV show Blackish). She has also produced, written & directed & cast in her first short , “Samething”, can be found on her Youtube Channel. She is the founder of SC Productions.
In 2023, she was a recipient of the Joseph R. Biden Liftetime Acheivement Award. She is currently writing her first screen play. So stay tuned!
